PARENTING BOOKS

How to Raise Better Humans
How to Raise Better Humans (Front Cover)

Raising a child is a unique and critical responsibility that requires our utmost attention. Unlike most other pursuits, there are no second chances when it comes to parenting. The first six years of a child's life are particularly significant, as they shape the stages of learning that will remain with them forever. Child psychologists, developmental psychologists, and family counselors agree that our childhood experiences have a lasting impact on our fears, anxieties, and insecurities, as well as our relationships.

Parenting can be incredibly challenging, but it is also one of life's most rewarding experiences. As caregivers, we want to raise better humans and provide a better world for future generations. We must recognize that we cannot control our children, but we can control their environment. This book provides a blueprint for creating a better parenting system that focuses on controlling the child's environment.

We present seven concepts that have been proven fruitful and created a children's book How to Be a SUPER Human!, to help teach these concepts to young children. By shifting our focus from controlling behavior to controlling the environment, we can begin to raise better humans.

This book is written for anyone who is raising a child, regardless of their age or experience. Join us on this journey towards creating a better world, one child at a time.

'License to Parent' flips the script on traditional parenting guides, offering you not just wisdom but a wild ride through the trials of raising tiny humans. With engaging pre and post-tests that'll make you laugh, cry, and maybe even reconsider that time you thought 'winging it' was a viable parenting strategy, this book is your ticket to navigating the chaotic, beautiful journey of parenthood with a bit more confidence and a whole lot of humor. Dive in, and let's see if you've got what it takes to earn your metaphorical "License to Parent" – because in the grand adventure of raising the next generation, everyone could use a roadmap, even if it's drawn with crayons.

As a wife, mom, counselor, and friend, I have experienced grief like many of us and have struggled to know how to handle steps forward. Most likely, you never considered having to purchase this to help a child you love through this difficult time, but I am hopeful it can bring some peace and comfort to your situation. As a caregiver of a child who is dealing with loss, you have been put into a knowingly difficult position, and one where you may be grieving yourself. This guide will provide some activities and thoughtful ideas to help you and your child, activities I have personally used to help with my own grief and with children and students who have suffered loss.
